About Kaustubh Deo “KD”
Kaustubh Deo is a dedicated arborist and business leader who brings Wall Street financial expertise and Pacific Northwest roots to the tree care industry. As President of Blooma Tree Experts, KD oversees all business operations while maintaining his hands-on expertise as an ISA-Certified Arborist.
A true Seattle-area native, KD grew up in Redmond and attended University Prep in northeast Seattle, giving him an intimate understanding of the region’s unique tree species and environmental challenges. After building his business and analytical skills in Boston and New York City, KD wanted to return home to the Pacific Northwest and pursue small business entrepreneurship. This led him to acquiring Blooma Tree Experts in 2022.
Under his leadership, the company has expanded its services and grown significantly, including the recent incorporation of Out On A Limb, another high-quality local tree company. KD manages the business while ensuring that both clients and crew members receive exceptional support. His comprehensive approach combines his strong business acumen with the hiring of strong, technically-skilled arborists, to deliver reliable, professional tree care services.
KD is passionate about helping property owners understand proper tree care and maintenance, believing that when trees are healthy and well-maintained, everyone benefits from cleaner air, beautiful landscapes, and safer outdoor spaces.
