Mission:
To be a source of safety, inspiration, and peace — for each other and for our community.

Vision:
To build an enduring tree care business by empowering our team to be best-in-class.
Dive Deeper into the Blooma Mission
Our mission is why we exist as a company.
Safety: Safety for our crews as they work in hazardous conditions. Safety in the workplace from harassment. Safety for our clients in how we manage their trees.
Inspiration: Providing arborists a place where they can practice & grow their passion. Providing clients with elegant landscapes, and helping them re-envision their trees as an opportunity for beauty rather than a cost to be managed.
Peace: Being a workplace that employees feel at ease in. Being an arborist service that provides peace of mind to our clients, because they know we are trustworthy & well-trained.
Each Other: Blooma is nothing without its people. The company is just a collection of talented folks coming together and caring about each other and their work. It starts & ends with our team.
Our Community: Our team comes together to serve the community. This includes our clients. It includes our clients’ neighbors. It includes our schoolchildren & local municipal leaders. It includes our vendors & partners. It includes the broader arborist community in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
Dive Deeper into the Blooma Vision
This is what we will we become to fulfill our mission.
Enduring: We chose this word intentionally. We did not select “biggest” or “fastest-growing” or any other descriptor. To us, “enduring” means building in a sustainable fashion. It requires making long-term decisions, which may require short-term sacrifice. It reminds us that if we do not lay a strong foundation, anything we build above it will be fragile.
Empowering: We are building a business that allows our team to problem-solve, make decisions, and take control. We expect that of our team. We seek to hire arborists & staff members that want to take accountability for their actions and their overall role in the team. From a management/ownership perspective, this requires trust and relinquishing control. It means that everything in our business won’t be done the way the owner imagines. Instead, the owner’s job is to hire a talented team and point them in a direction. And that team can figure out how to get there.
Best-In-Class: This phrase can mean many things — to some, it’s a call to competition. It implies that we strive to better than others in our industry. And sure, they may be a tinge of competitiveness in us. But the core meaning derives from a constant drive for self-betterment. We define our own standards, we strive to meet them, and then work to exceed them. We decide what it means to deliver high-quality tree care, excellent customer service, and incredible employee experience. We don’t look to our left or right to define that – we look inward.
